The 3rd Folkestone Skabour Festival takes place on 10th, 11th & 12th August 2012. This probably is now one of the most exciting community ska festivals in the UK. It spreads out from the Quarterhouse venue where Bad Manners play on the Friday (sold out), Dave Barker & Goldmaster Allstars play Saturday late afternoon. The Dualers play Saturday evening evening and Reel Big Fish plyy Sunday evening. The Skabour trail sees further outside events such as the Trojan Lawn with Rhoda Dakar and Dr Martens. The Unity Bell Stage at the beach area with many bands including King Hammond and the Skabour Scooter Park at the harbour for many visiting scooter clubs.
There is a framed 2 Tone posters designs exhibition at The Chambers, Cafe and Bar and merchandise, badges and posters at the 2 Tone Posters shop at 48, Old High Street, Folkestone.. and a 2 Tone Exhibition at Leas Lifts the old Victorian water lifts station.
